Who we are
Resilient Revival Inc 501(c)3 was founded out of empathy, awareness and compassion for those in the hospital and post-intensive care unit (ICUs) rehabilitation setting.
Our founder Billy was diagnosed with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome), on full mechanical ventilation and placed in a medical coma. He had undergone intubation, a tracheostomy, and a chest tube. After spending months in the ICU fighting for his life with the prognosis to live slim, Billy kept fighting and survived.
With the team of medical professionals and therapists, Billy learned how to walk, talk, speak, eat, perform daily activities all over again. It is within his experience he decided he had a new life purpose. The need to give back and make a difference for others sharing similar experiences was the foundation of Resilient Revival Inc.
The time for progressive ideas to assist those in need is of the utmost importance. Our logo includes two Rs that stand for Resilient Revival intertwined with a phoenix. The symbolism of the phoenix to us means hope, transformation, and the renewed youth to live through another cycle.
Our Vision:
To create a community where belief is revived post-trauma through education, support, encouragement, and connection to mental health and rehabilitative resources.
Core Values
Belief
Even when we are going through difficult times, we can find joy and love in unexpected places.
We strive to empower others to increase self-worth and value within themselves; this self-belief will lead to a better life.
Resilience
We are committed to helping others persevere through adversity.
We celebrate breakthroughs and accomplishments no matter how small or large.
Connection
We aim to bridge the gap in therapy access and information.
We will provide education and resources for individuals post-trauma.
Community
We will listen actively and deeply to our community and hold ourselves accountable to empower others, especially those under-served by current systems.
We want to provide a community that exemplifies an authentic sense of place and belonging.
Heart
A heart postured to give never goes empty.
We are mindful of how we show up for ourselves and others; we lead from the heart with kindness by honoring unique strengths and qualities in every individual. We will remain humble and vulnerable in our efforts to positively impact each person in our community.
Wellbeing
We foster an environment that enhances the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of an individual.
When an individual commits to enhancing their mind, body, and soul, their happiness and health benefits.
Service
We give without the expectation of receiving because we love helping others.
The first question we ask is, "what can we do for others?"
Empathy
We strive to recognize the perspective and lived experiences of others.
We believe that there is no comparison in traumas and that everyone heals on their own timeline.

“This is going to make our patients feel cared for, comfortable, not alone, and motivated to work hard during rehab. Not to mention our therapists wouldn’t have to spend their personal money”
Physical Therapist, M.S.Rehabilitation Unit Post ICU, Major Hospital.
" The improved quality of clothing would increase the drive to rehab at a higher level and be a massive morale boost"
Nursing Facility – R.S.Physical Therapist,
“I’ve seen myself, items similar to those that people use at home lead to better outcomes because therapy then means more to the patient. I and many other therapists and rehab have used our own money for clothing for patients"
Occupational therapist, B.B.Rehabilitation Unit, at a high-performing major medical center
“As a physical therapist in skilled rehab for 8 years I know that motivation is key to all my patient’s success in improving quality of life and returning home. Having clothing that is appropriate and comfortable would greatly benefit patients to reach their goals”
Nursing -P.S.Physical Therapist
" If I were in rehab and only had the paper scrubs provided to wear, receiving a comfortable t-shirt would make my day. As a nurse, I know that the more comfortable a person is while they are trying to get back to their baseline the easier they can adapt. If a person is irritated they are more focused on that than their recovery. A t-shirt is a simple and thoughtful idea to help the patients feel they are a person and not just a patient."
Rehabilitation, HospitalS.S. - RN
